At Missouri River Outfitters, LLC we offer exceptional Spring Merriam Turkey Hunts near Enning, SD. We can accommodate both shotgun & archery hunters. We have 1,500 acres of contiguous private property available for the hunt. This is a challenging hunt as the property terrain includes creek beds with tree groves, cedar tree belts, and open farm ground with corn/wheat fields.
This is a walk and stalk style turkey hunt but we also use some ground blinds as needed. Your hunt will be fully guided and you will be taken to prime hunting land and put into areas that will provide the opportunities for shooting.
Our hunts allow us to handle 1,2, or 3 people at one time per guide. Merriam turkey hunts are $1,200 for double tag and $1000 for single tag. This hunt is for 3 days of hunting (if needed) , 1 or 2 turkey tag unit ($100 for the license).
Hunting Location: Our property is located by Enning, South Dakota contains large numbers of WILD Merriam turkey. Your tags will be for Black Hills Turkey Tag (MEADE COUNTY) 49A on your application!
Availability: We offer a limited number of archery or shotgun turkey hunts from the middle of April until the middle of May. Pick your duration on our hunting calendar for your preferred dates during the Spring or Fall hunting season.

We have opened up our ranch house for lodging for groups of 4-8 people. It is about 700 sq foot on main level with a very roomy upstairs. Very spacious and has everything for our guests to feel comfortable while hunting with us. The ranch house will comfortably sleep 1-2 on main level and 6-7 more upstairs. Upstairs has 2 rooms that are 18x15 and each room has 4 double beds in them. You will have the access to all TV programs and Wi-Fi internet while lodging with us. We have set the entire lodging at $80/night for the entire house. You are welcome to cook anything you may need and we stock a lot of the main food/drink items there.
Remember: You will be served 3 meals a day while you are there so we will come and cook breakfast, provide a meal in the field for lunch, and then a great home cooked supper in the evening. After dinner, the ranch house is all yours and you are able to sit back, relax and talk about the day while looking forward to another exciting day in the field tomorrow! We are currently going under a small renovation/update so all of our guests coming in this year will be a part of some great changes! We will keep posting photos of the progress!

Results: There are plenty of Tom's ranging in weight from 22 lbs. to 28 lbs., with beards as long as 10-12 inches. Many flocks of turkeys ranging in groups of 20-60+! We had 100% success rate last season in filling tags!
Included In Hunt: Guide, decoys, blinds and transportation to and from the field. If you have your own turkey hunting gear, you are more than welcome to bring it. We want you to hunt with what you are comfortable with.
Combination Hunts: Interested hunters can combine turkey with a walleye fishing trip! Pricing will depend on duration and group size.
Licenses: Merriam turkey hunts are featured in the spring and you will have to submit your application early for the lottery. There are only 25 non-resident tags available for the land in Meade County, South Dakota. Archery turkey tags are unlimited.

Cancellations made less than 60 days of arrival date forfeit entire payment. Cancellations prior to 60 days of arrival date forfeit only the deposit.
